About Us
Our Mission
Future Physicists Initiative is a student-led nonprofit that makes physics fun, approachable, and inclusive for all youth. We focus on students who are too often left out of science, especially girls and students from underserved communities. Through workshops, seminars, mentorship, and creative learning experiences, we’re working to open doors and change how physics is seen and who gets to be part of it. Our goal isn’t just to teach physics, but to help more young people imagine futures in it.
What We Do
Our educational programs aim to make physics fun, approachable, and inclusive, opening pathways for the next generation of physicists.

Meet The Team

Qinyi Wang
Hi, I'm Qinyi! I started Future Physicists Initiative to create a space where anyone could explore physics. As one of the few girls interested in the subject, I often felt like an outsider. It was as if I had to prove to others that I even deserved to like physics.
Along the way, I and others in similar situations faced a lot of doubt and discouragement. However, I also experienced so much joy, wonder, and strength in trying to understand how the universe works. I want to help others experience that same excitement without facing the same barriers.
We started this initiative to provide the kind of support and community that I wished I had had earlier. FPI is for anyone curious about physics, especially those who were told it wasn't for them. Physics isn't just boring equations. It's exciting and creative, and everyone can explore it with confidence, curiosity, and joy.
